First, the obvious comment - these speakers will require an amplifier to function. You can’t simply plug them into your television. I am using mine with a Denon AVR-S750H.
I bought this set from Costco during a holiday sale last November. The satellite speakers and center-channel speaker are tiny, but sound surprisingly good for their size and work well in my living room. That said, I thought the subwoofer that comes with this set is terrible - it lacks power, doesn’t go very low, and rattles and buzzes. I ended up replacing my sub with an SVS PB-1000 and am very happy with this combination.
How would you feel about it if you were using the sub in addition to another one? I’ve got a 15" veoldyne servo type, but with this being wireless was debating on placing it on the opposite corner of the room. But if it’s complete crap I’d probably just turn it into a garage/man cave sub
