[MOD EDIT] Slightly different model.

$70 over at the mothership just FYI

Do not confuse with X7i.

I wonder if Woot is an authorized dealer for 2yr warranty, a comment on Amazon states they denied warranty service on purchases from Amazon. Has anyone purchased from woot and had a successful warranty repair?

[MOD: We are authorized.]

`i think that has more to do with amazon allowing 3rd party unauthorized vendors to sell on the same site as amazon, who is authorized and warranteed.

Woot is an Authorized Dealer, see link. http://www.klipsch.com/authorized-online-dealers

My opinion is that these aren’t very good. I bought a pair and immediately returned them. The X5’s sound much better.

Yes. I have bought other Klipsch products from woot, and they are always great with warranty coverage. I didn’t even have to send the old IEMs back to get a replacement.

I think they even had a woot exclusive color for the S5I at one point IIRC.

I see $65. So I guess if you wanted these headphones anyway, it’s a deal…

After wasting my money on a pair of S4i’s I’d never again buy a pair of earbuds marked Klipsch.

Cheap Chinese crap with a what-used-to-respectable name slapped on it.

The $9 iMetal buds of Woot-of-Old were 5X better than my 10X more expensive Klipsch.

You bought S4i’s that may have something to do with it. I had a pair of X10’s that were absolutely fantastic, sadly I had to return them as the design (cord coming straight out instead of angled down first) made me concerned about regular use with my motorcycle helmet.
