I have one of the statics and you can make them shorter and lighter by cutting the end and resealing with an iron. I was surprised at how well it worked

Had me one of them Klymit Sleeping Pads for the old lady who just wouldn’t shut up about how damn cold sleeping on rocks was. Then the danged thing sprang a leak while we was perched about 3/4 of the way up ol’ El Capitan. Whoosh she went jetting out in the night, yammering about buyin’ refurbs off’n Woot all the way down.
