If I didn’t already have an ebook reader (an enTourage eDGe) and a tablet, and if everybody I knew didn’t already have a tablet… I’d jump on this. Seems like a great deal!

I was going to jump on it until I read the crappy reviews on Amazon. Apparently it’s not a Kobo product.

The same item at the same price is already offered at http://computers.woot.com/plus/leftover-tablets-1 . Odd that it’s part of the Woot-Off.

Sorry to all those who fell for this one. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. @amazonreviews

Oh, haha crap.

Aw well, $15 down the tubes. I’ve dropped worse online.

Ordered, realized it wasn’t an actual Kobo product. Attempting to cancel.

We’ll see how this goes.

Are you ABLE to cancel? Is that a thing you can do on Woot? More significantly, during a Woot-off?

You’ve got a 15 minute window to be able to cancel orders during normal operations. During a Woot Off… it’s dicier and no cancellation from the customer end. Wrote 'em about it and we’ll see what turns up, but I’m pretty displeased that this isn’t an actual Kobo product but they’re sure presenting it as one.

Yeah, it’s pretty bizarre. Aw well, I’ll just stick with it and try it out.
