How is this a deal? Its price is in line with most other 480Gb SSDs on the market. Nothing special here. Really puzzled.

It is a deal, but not a good deal. Likely Amazon clearing inventory for a new model coming out soon. Maybe at $25 or $30 bucks I would go in a for a few just to have for projects.

Price hiking from Woot to cover their loses on lost items/lost revenue from screw ups. Someone has to pay the price.
