Kodak USB Power Pack

I bought two of these on another occasion from Kodak USB Power Pack and both are in the garbage now. When I tried to charge one of them on a USB brick (as opposed to a PC’s USB slot), it made a high-pitched squeal and I thought it was going to explode. When I tried to use the other one on my phone, despite leaving it charging over night on my PC, it worked for about 1 minute and then died. I’d give big bucks if Woot would offer Duracell 1800mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Pack – 2 Pack again (best thing since sliced bread and I use them all the time), but the Kodak ones are garbage

Man, I was hoping to grab these to power a couple of Raspberry Pi units. With the currently-shipping Model B, you’re looking at maybe an hour of uptime, depending on load.

I was hoping to do the same thing. I saw it and thought it would be great for the Raspberry Pi. Then I took a look at the specs. Oh well.

You’ll have to buy $50 of adapters, but suuure it will!
