Product very indecisive whether “indoor” versus “outdoor” - conflicting statements and pictorials.
Did you ever find out whether it is for outdoor use or not?
For $10 I’ll give it a go. If I can monitor away from home (according to reviews you can) and get auto recordings, I’ll bite. Thought the " I See You " IR vision photo in the listing gives me the creeps

I would assume so also other than the picture of it hanging outside the front door. Lol

To be fair, it is undercover but I wouldn’t do it.
Dunno if you’re still looking for an outdoor camera but this “wildlife” cam is on sale over at Newegg. Not sure about the brand, though
Got mine today, a great general indoor use camera for $10. Easy enough to set up, great if you want to be able to check up on a pet or something while away. Cable could be longer but honestly for $10 it’s plenty. Can always get a USB extension cable and mount it to the roof. would post a picture but I don’t know you well enough
Does this require a power source or is it rechargeable?
Requires power from the wall. Decently long cable. It’s sitting on top of my cabinets and managed to plug into the receptacle / outlet above my kitchen counters. Also comes with a wall mount.
