These seem to be a solution awaiting a problem that doesn’t exist.
A better use? As smoke tubes. Fill with wood pellets, light, and add some amazing smoke flavor to your meats, cold-smoke fish and cheese, or increase smoke exposure to BBQ.
I use one for my lox, after it cures. A couple of hours on the (cold) grill, and not only do they (salmon sides) have more robust, complex flavor, it adds a layer of preservative. Once vacuum sealed, they’ll last in the fridge for weeks or months - freezer for literal years.
I can’t imagine standing over veggies grilling and perpetually turning them. Seems pointless. But a smoke tube is one of those cooking items you ask yourself how you lived without, after finally trying it.
Bake enough happiness for everyone at once!
Bake! At once!
New upgrade of quality technology!
304 stainless isn’t a material, it’s technology.
Welding process, the switch is smoother.
They started using better welders with smoother switching.
I know I could put these to good use, but I can’t quite think of the right application. A rodent screen for some kind of air intake? Dryer vent? Mini bingo ball drum? Maybe a strainer for a French drain?
See-through maracas!
Just got ours, pretty well built for what you pay. Need to deburr the edges a bit.
One question I have, does anyone know what the hell the hooks are for??
Could they be for hanging the baskets from grill studs?
