Last time I got this jerky it was really dry. Pass
Jerky is dried meat…
“dried” but not dry, jerky isn’t supposed to be a meat cracker
Beef jerky and wine, go hand in hand like chewing gum and caviar.
Actually, that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be. Jerky can last so long since all moisture has been removed.
What most people are used to is slightly dehydrated meat with heavy seasoning, particularity salt.
If the jerky you are eating has to be sealed in an air-tight bag, then it is not really jerky.
Real jerky can easily be re-hydrated if you find it too dry.
I actually just bought a bag of this jerky at the local Sheetz the other day (the teriyaki flavor). For $5.99 a bag, I wasn’t impressed. The flavor was kind of dull, and the meat was a bit powder-like - maybe too dry as another wooter wrote. My first thought after trying it was “Meh.” I wouldn’t buy again.
Sorry , can’t do $35 for 16 oz. on jerky .
