I got these before also – the size was OK (agree they are not LARGE), but the overall finish quality was sub-standard. NOT bad enough to bother doing a return, but I wouldn’t buy again. There really is no “copper” cladding or anything like just, just an orange-ish paint on the outside that was uneven around the rim. There were some places where there were extra bits of the copper-like-substance on the rim or inside the top rim of the bowl, and other places where you could see the “paint” wasn’t even on the outside. Overall I would say individually these bowls (w lids) are dollar-store items, so I think $5 for the set is all it’s worth.
EDIT I thought these would be nice for decorative storage of coffee beans and other kitchen items, but now that I realize they do not look impressive at all, I think I will default back to glass containers which I think are better anyway since you can see what is inside. I would say I expected a much higher quality and finish than what I found in the product I received.
