A bit shady of a company, guess they sell non LED lights as LED (since it’s their name brand, not actually LED style.)

Also, Target has them for $45…

And when Amazon did sell them, they were always this price usually cheaper, and if you search Amazon site for “Weatherproof LED 15”, you will see several of the same style for the same price.

I don’t understand…

It says multiple times in the description that these are LEDs:

“These extremely durable string lights are made with commercial grade LED lighting”
“These LED bulbs will easily last you for 12 years”
“Commercial grade LED lighting”
“Includes 15 luminous LED bulbs”

Currently available at Costco under the Feit brand name for $10 less. I have those lights (which look identical to these), and I love them. They were long enough to string along all three screened sides of our screen porch, and they provide excellent, warm, distributed light for the whole screen porch.

I think this version is legit LED, the problem is, the company is called “LED Concepts” so LED bulbs, can just mean it’s their brand. (Which they have done in the past, and again, they have been cheaper and amazon still has cheaper)

Amazon reviews state the bulbs where incandescent, not LED. Basing this on the product Woot linked in Amazon.

I’m seeing about $68 on amazon but yeah target looks to be the same set for $5 cheaper.

Funny how the price was only jacked up near the time Woot put it on sale…

This is not the first time I’ve seen this happen. Gotta be careful to compare prior prices on Amazon, and not just current.

The price changed on Oct 9, well before this sale and believe me, we plan at the last minute. Scary last minute.

Why no specifications? Any lighting should include wattage, color temperature, dimmability and lumens. It would be good to know the material the bulb is made of, too. Outdoor bulbs tend to break and broken glass is bad for bare feet. You used to be much better, Woot.

YOU may plan last minute, but that doesn’t mean your vendors and related partys don’t. Sorry, I just find it hard to believe it’s mere coincidence.

We would be interested if they were color changing bulbs. Don’t have much use for white light only bulbs.
