Where’s the $1099.99 price come from? These are $679.99 on the LEGO site. $589.99 isn’t a bad price, and yes the resident six year old really wants this, but I don’t have the budget or shelf space at the moment for something this size.
I agree that it looks bad when they do this, but 12% off is still a good deal. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this go on sale, like many of the other Lego sets on sale today, so I’m glad I’m getting even a little discount.
That reference price is absurd and genuinely makes Woot look bad. That’s never been the price from LEGO, and LEGO’s price should be the only one considered as a reference for a LEGO product.
