Lenovo Diskless 4-Bay Rackmount NAS

Diskless as in it does not come with disks or as in it has SSDs?

If it had SSDs, wouldn’t you expect them to state the capacity? Diskless in the sense that it doesn’t come with any drives – just like they’ve been advertised and specified for a decade.

BYOD - Bring Your Own Disks.
No disks included.

Is it just me, or is there no disc medium specified? For example: SATA I,II, or II, SAS, SCSI, etc.

I found a spec sheet with more info. See if this helps.

Link will immediately download the PDF.

Maybe someone knows something I don’t, but what outside of the rackmount form factor and higher power consumption does this get you that you can’t get from a more powerful home unit like the QNAP TS-451?

The pride and joy of adding to your woot square of everlasting peace, love and a key to the pearly gates of your choice.

Woohoo! USB 2.0!

Now we’re flyin’!
