Comments from a previous offer

I must confess my fortune in getting a model of this same computer with better specs in every department for the same price (refurbished) through Adorama on Ebay.

That being said, I can at least comment on the keyboard and build quality, both of which are very satisfactory for me coming from a budget HP laptop that had glossy plastic everywhere.

The keyboard is pleasantly quiet and reasonably firm, though opinions here will inevitably vary.

The hinges on the screen are unfortunately too tight for it to be a one-finger lift while simultaneously being nearly too loose when walking around with it in laptop mode as the screen has a slight tendency to slowly lean backwards if you don’t hold it as stable as possible. Not a huge deal, but it’s the one thing I can identify as a flaw, if not a massive one.

Build quality is pretty solid. Doesn’t seem to flex dangerously in any way. The only issue I had was that the screws seemed a tad too easy to strip when I was replacing the hard drive with an SSD. I tried 4 different phillips head screwdrivers and none of them gripped the screws really comfortably.

Only a single slot on the RAM, so you’ll need to buy an 8 or 16GB stick if you want to upgrade.
