A similar all-in-one desktop I bought from Woot Lenovo ThinkCentre A70Z 19" AIO Desktop is the only refurb I’ve ever had a problem with. Purchased at the end of February, dead by July.

Yes, there’s a one-year warranty I could have used, but I was so disappointed with Windows 10 that I just pulled the hard drive and tossed the rest. It took me days of tweaking to get the computer to run smoothly.

Sorry you seem to have gotten a dud, but it does not mean much about a totally different model.

And you seem to have two separate issues, one with Windows 10 and (perhaps) another with some unnnamed hardware issue?

It would have been interesting to create a USB stick with Puppy Linux on it, boot from that (even with no hard drive) and see how the PC runs.

I have an old Laptop with no hard drive and it is just wild to have all OS, apps etc. load into memory and run great with Puppy.

The title of the deal says that the CPU is an “Intel Core i5-3770S.” (It appears that there is no such thing as an Intel Core i5-3470S @ 2.90GHz.)

I purchased one of these. Lot’s of issues: 1. What is pictured is not what you get!!! 2. I did not receive a power cord, keyboard or mouse. 3. In the actual model shipped, the computer/display sits on a post which slides up and down into the base. The plastic ring which sits around the post is broken. Possibly due to shipping. 4. You can hear the hard drive, so it’s not likely a very good one. 5. Cosmetically, I would say that this one is in “fair” condition. Quite a few noticeable scratches in the plastic and lots of dust. It looks like it’s had some hard use.

Bottom line - This looks like it was sold by some second or third tier ebay website, not from Woot.
