Lenovo M900 Intel 512GB SFF Desktop

Lenovo M900 Intel 512GB SFF Desktop

Any of you computer savvy folks able to tell me how this compares to:

https://www.newegg.com/lenovo-thinkcentre-m900-business-desktops-amp-workstations/p/1VK-0003-04DU4

Seems like it’s the same price, better processor, but smaller ssd. Other than that, looks about the same.

Thanks! Looking for a starting desktop for my kids.

i5-6500 benchmark:

i7-6700T benchmark:

The small form factor desktop allows some upgradability, whereas there’s not much that can be done with a micro system. One other aspect is that I didn’t find any mention of a warranty offered on the system from the Newegg marketplace seller; the seller ships from Canada.

Does it have a HD out, looks like vga only.

It has 2 display ports.

What is the warranty / return policy on this?

Much better deal https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HCN2RHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That’s a processor 3 generations older. Not comparable. I’ll go look up the benchmarks but I imagine that the i5 3 generations newer is close to if not better than the i7 you listed.

Looked it up. The i7 looks to be better. I am surprised.

But it still is a processor 3 years older.

The warranty comes with a 1-year Verified Systems Solutions warranty and you can find a link to that in the Features section. There is a 30-day Woot return policy as well.

If you are in the market for a desktop and don’t need special graphics processing, this is a GREAT deal for you. 6th gen i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD with an available space for a 2nd hard drive - you can’t go wrong here.
