@ThunderThighs or @KermieFae - can you kindly explain why this is stated to be new but has only 90 day Woot Warranty while the Enterprise version has a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty?
It does not say open box or refurbished and I hope that is not what is in fact being sold. Thank you for clarifying.
Not stated but does it also have ChromeOS auto-updates through June 2029 like the Enterprise version?
I hope the description is correct and not simply copy in error (which some products had). That this has the AMD Ryzen 5 3500C, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD Storage. Not the AMD Atholon version with eMMC. Can you please check? I do not want to receive and find out to my dismay and have to return. Thank you.
It often depends on where we source it from. If we get it from one of our vendors, then we can get full warranties. If we source it from Amazon inventory, then we can’t guarantee full warranty because we’re not the original reseller. In this case, we give it a woot warranty.
Since I am trying to purchase 2 (one a gift), could you kindly confirm that it is new as stated and not a return?
That it is as described since there are 4 versions of the device and at least one has an Athlon (do not want) vs a Ryzen 5 3500C, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD (stated in ad but I have been disappointed at least three times in past).
Thank you.
Where the End of Life date woot? Where?
Here’s some cold pasta. Not that it matters now.
WARNING - DO NOT BUY
End of Life date not clearly specificed in specs - Woot is just being lazy now. Would you buy a gallon of milk with no date on it but told to go consult this chart to decipher the block and lot code to determine when it’s going to expire? No? It’s the same thing with this Chromebook. The End of Life date should be CLEARLY AND CONCISELY stated in the specs. It ALWAYS suspicious when it’s not. I would NOT buy this Chromebook WITHOUT checking Google’s End of Life webpage.
Normally I’d complain about the screen here, however, this has a 1080p screen. What I will complain about (and Woot can’t fix) is that it seems every time a ChromeBook has a 1080p screen the rest of the specs are overkill for a Chromebook. ChromeOS (or whatever it’s called) is a very lightweight OS. This processor is major overkill. But it is what it is.
Woot Staff: The End Of Life date should be at the top of the specs; it’s the single most important spec when buying a Chromebook/box ESPECIALLY considering Chrome based devices have a limited update lifetime (6 years from the first date of manufacture).
This one is sold out and was last night. What’s the other one you’re asking about?
Also, in the garage sale, it’s possible that it’s a computer sold as NEW and returned unopened.
The other also is in the same garage sale, as the Enterprise version of the Lenovo ThinkPad c13 Yoga Chromebook." However, it has a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty instead of 90-day Woot warranty.
LOL. Links would be quicker. Found it though.
This is pulled from Amazon. Warranty is probably because we are an authorized seller for Lenovo already.

More:
Here’s where we originally sold it back in March with the same warranty.
The one you are showing is the Enterprise version with the 1-year warranty. The one soldout (purchased) has a 90-day warranty and is not the Enterprise version.
Concern is because they are listed both as being “new” in the same sale and same page. They are not listed as returns and definitely not listed as refurbished.
Yeah, there’s a lot of magic that goes into figuring out the warranties. Was it Amazon inventory or 3P seller inventory. And other stuff that I don’t know about.
Sorry - I do not know what 3P is. Third party? But I am trying to trust that the Woot ad saying or representing it as “New” really means Lenovo factory new even if warranty difference was a surprise. Please correct my impression if I cannot.

Yes, 3P is a 3rd party seller on Woot. And to the best of our knowledge, it is as Amazon states - New.
Thank you, @ThunderThighs [Edited]
Sent in brown box with Lenovo and Amazon seals. Scant documents but seems new or factory refurbished (cannot distinguish). Seemed to be recognized by Lenovo look-up as received by Amazon in 2021.
Is there such a thing as Amazon “new-old stock” that did not move? Perhaps oddly, Amazon lists it as Currently Unavailable. It is designated as C13 Yoga “1st generation.” Thanks for taking time to explain what was available. Some power users have had stuttering performance issues and expected faster performance for a Ryzen based system. But I am not a coder, have not tried Linux on it, and don’t edit videos - it so far works fine (day 1).
