Great price for a good laptop with decent specs. I’m not sure if Microsoft has updated the list of supported Windows 11 CPUs yet but this one should be on the list. Even without it being added to the official list it’s easy enough to bypass.
No updates for older processors – the 2500U is Zen1 based – so no, this one not natively supported.

Microsoft at some point a month or so ago put out a statement that they were going to relax some of the standards for Windows 11. I don’t remember what exactly the wording was and don’t have time to look it up right now. 2nd generation ryzens meet every standard but for some reason they never included them in the list of supported processors.
I thought it was the other way around – that they’re tightening the bypasses.
Last year, they actually removed supported CPUs:
As for “second gen”, Ryzen has been all over the place. For desktop and mobile, 1000-series are mostly Zen (1), but so are some 2000-series and 3000-series mobile. A couple 1000-series (AF), some 2000-series and some 3000-series are Zen+, Some 3000-series, all 4000-series, and some 5000 and 7000-series mobile are Zen 2. 5000-series desktop, and some 5000 and 7000-series mobile are Zen 3. 6000 and some 7000-series mobile are Zen 3+. All 7000 and 8000-series desktop, some 7000-series mobile, and all 8000-series mobile are Zen 4. 9000-series desktop and AI 300-series mobile are Zen 5.
… and that covers their generational lineup! Easy, right?!

Anyone else get notified that they won’t be receiving their order?
