I bought one of these a couple weeks ago, and am very pleased with it. And yes, you can upgrade the RAM.

So, I’ve never changed the Memory on a laptop - is it as easy as swapping out the boards and then powering it up?

I bought one last week when they brought it back. I love it. I am accustomed to a Surface Pro 4, I5 edition, and I really like this backup laptop. I haven’t upgraded the RAM, but I intend to. But I don’t feel rushed because I just don’t feel the lag in the computer!

That seems much more complicated than what was discussed here a week or so ago…not replacing the HD, just the memory, and folks here said you just unscrewed the back off to get to the board.

Correct…and a couple of years longer in the tooth.

Just received mine. It is NOT NEW as described. The inside protective cardboard is missing and there are minor scratches on the surface, not to mention the unreasonably high amount of dust on every sides of the computer. Worst ever online shopping experience.
