The specs on this suggest it’s a third-generation X1. However, the photographs are of a first-generation X1 (third-gen X1 has real buttons on the touchpad). Can staff resolve this discrepancy?
Isn’t this the second generation? The third generation comes with 5th generation Intel Core i processor.

This is the second generation and to echo the poster above, you are much better off with the third generation for similar pricing.
