What are the lids made out of?

Is this a set of 8, as in 8 glass containers (as shown in the photo)? Or a set of 8, as in 4 containers and 4 lids? The other listing for this same brand counts the lids as part of the set (i.e. 5 containers and 5 lids for a set of 10), so I have a feeling that the photos might be misleading.
