I have a few of these around the house and I’m pretty sure I paid fifteen bucks for one when I bought them on Amazon. They’re good to step up to a high shelf. But I use one for a different purpose – I make wine and in order to keep the bucket off the ground I use one of these to place the bucket of wine on. Maintains better temperature control in that no cold from the concrete is transferred to the liquid.
We also have a few and are mostly pretty happy with them. I was really pleased when I discovered the larger ones (I think I bought a pair off Woot a year or three ago) because they give me a little more reach which seems to be just what is needed for our highest cabinets/shelves in most places. (Not sure if these “mediums” are the large ones we have.) Their folding for storage means we can stash them next to the washer or in the closet or wherever.
At the moment, we have one large version in each vehicle’s trunk since we’re helping to care for a nearby family member who sometimes needs help getting stuff down from higher places. I suppose we could buy another large one to store there, but there’s not a lot of extra room at their place, so trunk it is…

Do not put anyone over 200 pounds on this thing. I’m 208 lb and it buckled the first time I tried to use it… In the specs provided when it was sold, it’s capable of holding up to 300 pounds. Caveat Emptor!
Is this product coming back to Woot?
Probably? We seem to run them every few months or so.
If you have a dollar tree near you they sell a smaller version for $5. They don’t list a weight limit. We have a couple of the small ones from a different deal site & we learned to be carefull stepping on & off & to step more towards the edges not the center. Keep 1 on the side of the fridge for the top shelves in the cabinets.

I have several of similar type stools from different manufacturers, and have never experienced issues with them. I bought both sets of these from Woot. The larger set of stools and the smaller set. I weigh 145 pounds. The plastic clips that keep the stool broke the 1st time I used the stool. Woot graciously refunded my purchase on the larger set. This morning I stepped one stool from the smaller set, and the clip snapped and went flying across the room. These are dangerous! Maybe it was a storage issue and they were previously stored in a very cold warehouse ? In any event, the plastic became weakened on both stools and snaps! This is 2 out of 4 stools. The other 2 are going in the trash. Too dangerous to use!
