I bought mine last black friday for 169 or something like that.

If only this is new…

My roommate has this very same monitor and I have heard no complaints. It is a very good looking monitor with a bright screen… thinking about picking this up for myself

TN panel? Got to be…

lg == awsome…

I like lg, too bad i dont have an extra 2k.

Here’s a link to the Alatest reviews for this product. Hopefully someone will give some insights soon…

Strange. A 22” LCD with 1680×1050 native resolution sounds a little off. What’s even more awkward is the 10,000:1 contrast ratio.

Check:

The highest found is 3000:1. I thought only plasma TV’s had the 10,000:1 because each pixel is self lit.

This monitor goes for average $325 elsewhere. Sounds like a good deal.

2K? You need 10 of these?

I just bought this last week for $324! This is an awesome deal, except for the limited 90 day warranty. It seems a little too little

its called a “dynamic contrast ratio” although I have an LG with the same hooked up to an HD DVD player and it looks spectacular. 1680×1050 is standard for all 22’ monitors. its only at 24 that they are usually higher.

are refurbs guaranteed to be dead pixel free (or very few)?

lol i have noticed alot of fellow wooters just arent that good at math… i get confused some times too. what is it called when i have 3 zero’s?!?

So, I was about to buy a acer for $199 from that aging egg but is this much of a better deal? the resolution does seem odd

Very tempting. The only thing that concerns me is the fact that is a refurbojoby. Anyone out there can tell me something that will ease my mind?

I was just shopping online for a 22" LCD. Thought I found some great deals for monitors $180-200 with savings of $30-50. I couldn’t quite pull the trigger but midnight hit so I decided to check woot and sure enough a 22" LCD. Is this fate? Now I don’t know what to buy, save $30 with a new monitor or save about $150 and chance the refurb? I think I might just woot because of it’s perfect timing.

I think all 22" panels are TN

Found a link to a review–not a very good review at that:(

Another more favorable review here:

I do too much photo editing for me to ignore ‘bad color’ criticisms–I’ll pass.

What’s strange about a 22" LCD with 1680x1050? Most 22" wide screen LCD’s are 1680x1050, it’s not until you get to 24" and larger that they go to 1920x1200.

The 10,000:1 contrast is dynamic contrast, the actual contrast is probably 3000:1. It achieves the dynamic contrast by dimming the backlight when it’s displaying a darker scene so that you don’t get a washed out look. I have the 20" version of this monitor, it works well.

All 22" monitors at newegg are 1680x1050 except one 1440x900 same with tiger direct 1680x1050 is the standard resolution for 22"
