I thought about buying this exact model during black friday deals. I called and email LG regarding the native board hz. They sent a copy of the models instruction booklet in order to confirm that it was 60hz. Best buy is terrible at listing board rates. One of the biggest problems with TVs is panel lotteries and how often the panels are interchanged.
This also leads to another issue, this was 6 months ago, so it is possible that they changed their board for this model. If it’s something that is important to you, ask LG for the booklet.
According to the UPC index, this TV is in fact 120hz.

I have the 55inch version of this and it’s an absolute beauty. IMO LG is the best brand for televisions out there, they have a ton of settings that make it really easy for you to self- calibrate
LG is consistently the best TV for the money, period. If you want better, get Samsung. That is all. I already have way too many TVs, but considering this to replace a 42" LG in a guest room. Since it is not a Smart TV, would need to pair it with a Roku box or similar.
