Some reviews from Best Buy
Product Page

Purchased one last time this came around for my 5. Works wonderfully, charges kind of slowly though. It’s not that bulky if you don’t have tiny pockets. Buttons are all easy to use, but the headphone jack will be inaccessible to anything with an input larger than the standard earpods (or an L shaped input). Sound is good from the speakers. Also doesn’t add much weight.

TL;DR: Great product that does what you’d expect.

Pretty good reviews (4.3 out of 5.0) over at amazon

BTW, is this something that you would have on your phone at all times? I would use this but would hate to give up the protection of my Otter Box. Perhaps I would use this on vacation when I am using my phone constantly as a camera?

Good stuff! i see this product at bestbuy store few months back and purchased.

I been using it for last 4 months and its perfect and not bulky like otterbox…still can get extra life with Lifecharge

Not bulky? Darn, I was hoping it would be comparable to the Defender Case for a 5C. I wanted to continue to use my Otterbox Defender clip holder.

Bought this few months ago for $40 here . Pretty decent product .

Some how it seemed like my juice ran out faster when the phone connected with this battery , anyone has the same experience ?

Gonna get a white one , the last time they didn’t have a white one .

Somewhat concerning review @ Amazon:

"I think this is a very good product except for one thing. When I contacted LifeCharge with a problem. They told me they could not help me because Amazon.com is NOT an authorize reseller of this product.
This is a quote from LifeCharge “We checked the link you sent us (Amazon.com) and the seller is not authorized dealer. Please contact them directly since we don’t affiliate with them.”

Also don’t see the warranty info listed…

[MOD: Warranty is 90 Day ONTRION]

This may only be of use to people who have fringe reception at home or at work. At home I only get one bar or two on my iPhone 5 (original) but never zero bar / no service unless I put one of these power cases on.
I tried 4 different ones, different brands and different capacities ranging from this one at 2600 to one at 4300. The cases all fit fine, some were bulkier than others but in the end I returned all of them because depending on location within my home I would frequently get no service/ zero bars. That meant missing calls or unable to text.
Since I need extra battery capacity to keep up with mapmyfitness, UP24 app, etc I had to opt for a separate charger. I picked the lightest/smallest I could find which was the Jackery mini-premium. A bit too flashy but very light and easy to carry in my pocket along with a mini 3 inch lightning plug. It’s supposed to give me two full 0-100% charges, I’ve only used it to charge it once.

For something I spend $29 on I am not too worried about the warranty.

I bought this last time around and it worked well for the battery charging - it charges fast, but it does get rather warm. It will charge my 5 about 2.5 times before it needs its own boost. A couple negatives -
the earphone jack is so far recessed and the hole to get to it is an unusual size/shape so I have to use their adaptor. Which was no problem until I lost it on an airplane. The other problem is the case is extremely slick - I dropped it almost as soon as i started using it and it protected my phone BUT the case broke. Because it is slick plastic, I dropped it more than once and the breaks continued. Now I have it patched with little pieces of gorilla tape. It is so slick I thought about putting some of those bathroom tub anti-slip stickers on it to add to the grip It uses a mini usb plug to charge, so that may be problematic for others, too.
I wish OTTER BOX made something like this - we have had no problems with those over the past 5+ years.

All that said, I am going to order another one and try to hang on to it better.

Is charging/data through a lightning connector or a micro usb cable?

Awesome Price!

I love this case. If your like me and use your phone all the time, then you need this case is gives you an extra battery I go through both in one day but my phone actually makes it through the day I never worry about it dying on me. It recharges at the flip of a switch.

MicroUSB as it says in the description.

I got one the last go round and this “case” and it offers NO protection. I have replaced 2 screens at 90.00 a pop. Once when I dropped my iPhone 2 feet onto my kitchen counter and once when my kid dropped it from the grocery store cart to the floor. I only use it now to for emergency charges when I am on a plane and immediately put my otter box back on.

This is what pisses me off about Apple. Still using my Blackberry (work-related), and carrying around just a thin, cheap replaceable battery or 2 is FAR easier than this stuff. Why does Apple keep their closed architecture? No replaceable batteries, no memory card slot… Oh yeah, I forgot. Profit. And the iSheeple keep ponying up for more.

Blackberry stock today: $9.30
Apple stock today: $96.32

Looks like Apple is doing something right.
