[MOD EDIT] Slightly different model.

So trying to figure out two things:

  1. Does this have a fan built in that circulates the heat that it puts off? Or does it just radiate heat from it without much circulation?
2)Roughly how much does it weigh? Assuming its relatively lighter weight, less than 20lbs?

It seems more like this one:

It has a built-in fan and weighs approximately 19 pounds.

Me too. Got it at $70. Put it in the basement, been running 24/7 at low watt & minimum temp. Works like a trooper. Fan is louder than I would want upstairs. Hard to pass up at $40 if for no more than a back up.

Can anyone tell me how big it is?

Yes, that one is a smaller unit.

Yes that looks like the one.

Amazon has it at $99 and free shipping if it’s the same model and it appears to be the same. Rating at Amazon is four stars. I prefer 4.5 stars but considering this is less than half price, it seems like a pretty darn good deal.

This looks like a pretty strong buy to me. I’m gettin’ one.

I have a similar model from the same brand. I LOVE IT! It keeps me toasty warm in the winter. The cabinet really does stay cool to the touch. The fan is a touch noisy, but not awful. I would recommend!!!

I bought a Lifesmart heater similar to this one last Fall. I use it for a 13x15 home office in Colorado. It works great and heats the room quickly. I like the fact it has a 12 hour timer and is thermostat controlled. I use it 5 days a week and my electric bill runs about $20 more a month. Better than heating the whole house and paying $150 a month to Atmos Energy (crooks) :unamused:.

Unless you want it for it’s looks, it is no better than other heaters. My electronics in the heater died after less than one year.

I’ve since learned that circuit boards and high heat are not friends.

This includes counter-top ovens, etc. Some companies use components that are not meant to be in very high heat environments.

Well, I bit for two. Interesting that one is getting shipped from Indiana via Fex Ex Home and the other from Kansas via UPS Ground.
