Is this version 1 or 2?

Q. What kind of connection ports are those under the WIFI extenders here it does NOT look like any kind of Cat connection unless there is an adapter of some sort that you plug in first. But that is not mentioned in the description of what you get in the box.

Also Q. I have not been keeping up with routers to much lately so is this one of the later better models or not anyone know?

Can anyone answer this Q and my previous Question thanks.

Thats for a power cable. Looks like these can be plugged directly in or used on a cable. The 2 ethernet ports are on the other end, I guess.

There are two on the bottom.

That being said, I had these once and returned them due to some troubles. So, I’m not the most fond, I’d say do your research on how well they are maintaining updates for that extender before you commit to it.

If my internet is with a USB modem will it work with this router…I noticed it has usb port

Hope its V1, bought one.

That’s for the power connection, the power adapter to the wall fits into it allowing for different country plugs(this one should be US style). The ethernet ports are on the other side. BTW this is the older N speed tech.

The RE4000W’s are junk!

Even when powered by a death star Linksys router,( Linksys EA9400 Max-Stream AC5000 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Tri-Band Gigabit Router) these things can’t find a signal.

Stay away from these clunkers and send a few more $$$ and buy the Linksys AC1900 (max stream RE7000)
