I bought one and it works fine - great signal inside and outside of my house.
I was in Sams Club yesterday, and this router costs $250 there.
The teardown picture on the Linksys WRT1900AC shows a fan inside. Besides the fact that I don’t like noisy network equipment, this means that unlike the WRT54GL that it appears to be designed to resemble, it won’t last simply because the fan bearings will die someday. Ick.
