Lite HDMI Over Cat6 Presentation Switch

Lite HDMI Over Cat6 Presentation Switch

4K HDR 4:4:2 over a 50ft shielded CAT6 cable constantly cuts out.

If I ran it at 1080p it’s fine.

This thing is trash.

Thanks a lot woot

Hi there. 50’ sounds long for HDMI but I’m no expert. Feel free to reach out to Woot! Customer Service.

From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.

In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

Hello ThunderThighs, nice to see you scanning the comments section.

You are 100% right that 50 feet over a traditional HDMI cable would be a big stretch without an active cable or fiber cable but this is HDMI over Ethernet which is totally supposed to be able to do this.

In fact this is advertised as being able to go up to 125ft

Woots fine customer service is sending me out a replacement in the event I got a dud so I’m hoping I just got unlucky with this one.

Have a great day!!!
