Indeed you can! In fact, Nudeman’s review took place on a propane grill. Nudeman has expressed concerns that if you mean using it in your kitchen you may get an uneven heat.
this griddle takes your food frying outdoors for one thing. I don’t know about you but I never cared for frying anything in my kitchen. Although technically not a fry pan, this style of cooking in my past professional opinion (I’ve been paid to prepare food for others=:-) is akin to fying, since you are using eith oil coated foods or oil on the griddle
No matter how much you clean your work area, grease and oils from the cooking process adhere to molecules in the air which transfer them to surrounding surfaces in your kitchen area (like on top of the often neglected to be cleaned, refrigerator top)
Also, frying and grilling foods no matter how careful in your home, your adjacent areas will always smell like what you fried, griddled for a bit, and why I use my outdoor grill often, to keep the cooking process, outdoors
others may have better and different ideas
