I live in New York also and they do the same w/ me. My packages are left on my front stoop in the middle of the day. I live in an area where I don’t really have to worry about it, but it’s still annoying. I’ve never had an order take more then a week to be delivered Standard Ground shipping, even with orders from Seattle (From there to Long Island in 6 days). This new “SmartPost” thing is really making me worry. I don’t even like the way the web site works/looks and even my LAST Woot order (the USB Bluetooth adapter) took only 5 days to get here and was not with this new crap they are shipping under. I’d rather spend an extra $2-$3 to have my order get here in under 9 days (It’s the 23rd now and I’m not gonna get it till the 4th?!) and I’m thinking that the whole order took so long to send out, not because of the people behind the scenes at Woot, but the shipping company. I think the Woot Brain-Children may need to rethink their shipping process if this is how its gonna be from now on because I’m now become hesitant to order anything else through Woot knowing it’s gonna take just shy of FOREVER to get shipped out and get delivered. And yeah, I HATE USPS but I know they are at LEAST “ok” when it comes to shipping and delivery. I still prefer UPS though…gotta love them people in their turd brown uniforms driving them big turd trucks. Come on Woot Overlords, this sux.
According to one of the posts, this will get delivered by USPS, after inital shipping by FedEx. Maybe it can make a stop by the DHL and UPS warehouses on the way out here, then every parcel company could get the chance to handle it.

I wish that they would leave it on the stoop. Mine are left across the road, where everyone can see them. This is a pretty good neighborhood, but it just takes someone driving through. UPS delivers on my back porch.
All of this is moot if the postal service is going to do the actual delivery. So my question is, why not ust the postal service for the whole thing? The delivery time is shorter. Well it wouldn’t have spent 4 days in California anyway. Lynn

been over a week and hasnt shipped for me yet. Anyone else same thing?
I can almost guarantee this item is a drop ship from the manufacturer. So woot is probably a their mercy and they used what ever shipping method that was most cost effective to them.
Woot needs to clarify that then. I"m annoyed that people who ordered their woots several days after us have already gotten their stuff and we are still waiting for it to leave the west coast!!! It’s not fair people. We should have been told about this.

My tracking shows it arrived in Dallas, so it’s probably to Carrollton by now. I used to live in Carrollton and worked next door (apparently) to where Woot’s hq is. So probably it’ll be the normal Woot to you ship times from this point.

Now I am a happy camper!!!
I got my wireless keyboard and mouse but how do I connect it up? There’s no quickguide or manual. I have the receiver plugged into a usb port. I tried pushing the button on the receiver and then the connect button on the mouse but nothing happens. Is there supposed to be some play in the button on the receiver? Because it doesn’t move at all when I push it and no light or anything signals that I pushed the button.

I am in Texas and I got mine yesterday…Delivered by the mail man (USPS). So it appears that some of the other posts are correct, FEDEX to USPS to your home.
Tracking information still said it was in Dallas…So I would not pay too much attention to that. I appears to be a day or two behind in some cases.
How many out there still waiting for theirs?
March 2nd and I still don’t even have a tracking number but it sounds like many others already have theirs… 
Mine arrived on my doorstep today. I put the batteries in, plugged it in, the base connected to the mouse and keyboard first try, and I’m using it now. No probs at all. Very happy.
I got mine in the mail today, put the batteries in and plugged the base in. The mouse works fine but the keyboard’s space bar, "" key, enter, backspace and delete keys don’t work. Anyone else have this problem? And if not what can I do? What is woot’s policy on refurbs? I know Logitech won’t cover it on warranty since its marked “sold as is” but would woot do anything if I can’t get it to work and want to send it back?
