Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse

Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse

Wanting to relieve wrist, forearm & shoulder discomfort during long sessions at the computer I decided to invest in an ergonomic keyboard & mouse. I bought this MX Ergo but bought the MX Ergo Plus version on sale for $89.99. The only differences with the “Plus” are that it adds a separate 10° bottom plate so it can be tilted up to 30° instead of only 10° or 20°. The other difference is it uses a micro-usb charging cable instead of a usb-C cable. I wish I would have bought this one instead. I’d rather have the usb-C charging cable, though it’s not a huge deal. And, after trying the different angles, the 20° feels perfect so I didn’t need to pay extra for the additional 10° plate.

IMO this is a fantastic choice! I haven’t used a trackball in many years but had it mastered by the end of the first use. The large thumb driven trackball is smooth and easy to manipulate. The software is excellent for adjusting speed, but most everything else, switching between two devices, forward/back, precision & L/R horizontal scrolling is done using easily accessible buttons. I connect to my desktop using the 2.4 and my laptop via bluetooth. Switching between the two is simply done by pushing a button on top. As is evident, I love it!

The model currently on Woot also uses micro USB for charging. You can see the port on the picture showing the front.

Ya, that’s right. I must have been comparing to the MX Ergo S.

I don’t remember seeing the “S” designation when I was shopping. But then again, I’m old.

The S usually means it has quiet (“silent”) clicking.

Description says USB-C charging but images state microUSB. Maybe @ThunderThighs can clarify.

It’s MicroUSB. We’re ending this one and relaunching it corrected. Thanks!
