Does anyone use the wired one for Xbox one? Does it need batteries when connected to the xbox via 3.5mm? Or only when powered through USB?
Truth in marketing?
You have 2 speakers. You do NOT have “7.1 surround sound”. They might sound nice, but it’s still stereo sound clamped to your head that doesn’t know which way you’re looking.
From a review site: “even a “pretty good” implementation of surround sound in a headset doesn’t really measure up to even the weakest of real-world, multi-speaker setups. I ended up leaving the setting off most of the time, because it either added very little or actively detracted from what I was listening to: for instance, muddling sounds together and creating a jumble of noises or hollowing out the center channel.”
