Lone Mountain Wagyu Beef Jerky (4)

What a waste of Wagyu.

This comes to $3.33/oz, whereas the steaks for sale are $8.95/oz. What second-rate Wagyu are they using for this?

be lucky if it was second-rate…probably like 12th rate wagyu

When people don’t buy the steaks when they list them, they have to do something with them. Jerky sounds the cheapest.

Cheaper to buy from lone mountain 6 bags is $51.

$40.00 for 12 oz of jerky ? Should call it Brokeback Mountain jerky.

Found a more detailed ingredients list on web site. It contains preservatives:
Ingredients: Wagyu Beef, Water, Salt, Cane, Brown & Maple Sugar (100% Maple Syrup), Sodium Nitrite, Less than 2% Glycerin added to prevent caking, Pepper, Spices, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Water, Wheat, Soybeans, Salt, Sodium Benzoate [less than 1/10 of 1% as a preservative]). Contains soy and wheat.

I was just going to post the same thing.

AKA, in the USA, usually not much.

That’s how my brother-in-law likes his steaks done.
