It says I will receive wine if I buy “vegan” jerky? Wth is vegan jerkey anyways?

For anyone who hasn’t tried these or this brand, these are delicious! We have a couple of flavors left in our house, so I will order more. My husband and his non-vegan co-workers love them. The texture is too much like “flesh” jerky for my taste, but for people who are new to eating plant based or still like the texture of jerky, it’s a big win.

Soo,… the packaging says it’s 3oz. The nutrition information says a serving a 1oz, and the package contains “About 2.5” servings.

Now, I’m no mathlete, but…

I’m not sure about the “wine” reference, but I can personally say that this jerky is fantastic! I’m not vegetarian or vegan, and it’s still awesome!

Now I just wish I could figure out this new Woot forum baloney…I can’t figure out how to post my own comment about this. I only see a “Reply” option next to all the existing comments. What am I missing?!?

I’m going to hop up onto my sarcasm soapbox here and add my two cents worth about the Maple Bacon flavor. This is just WRONG - there is no such thing as fake bacon! Everyone knows that bacon is the gateway meat for vegans!

Have you seen jerky eaters, eat? 0.5oz waste is on the low end.
