According to CNET, they’re alright

Holy Heck, that was a fast sellout. I didn’t even have a chance to read what the heck it was before they were sold out. What the heck?

do they not have any common sense at all? There are things I want, but I have to work tomorrow!

Good point. They should have consulted your work schedule before providing you with their services.

How Much Was This Item??

I got these recently from woot, and on the plus side I was surprised at the sound quality from dirt cheap headphones.

I was also surprised at how loud they are, driven purely by USB. I can often hear them literally from the next room, when things are otherwise quiet.

On the negative side, they have no manual volume control, and they often ignore Windows 7 volume settings no matter how I fiddle with it, so the volume is often literally too loud to wear the silly things.

I keep thinking there has got to be some new driver or something to fix this, and I just haven’t found it yet.

Can’t beat the price, even with that problem (and they’re comfortable). I could always solder in a volume control I suppose.
