Lubix Stereo Bluetooth Headset

No, it works if you upgrade to the new OS. 3.0.

And not to mention, it will work on iPod Touch 2nd Gen with OS 3.0

Video review…

Love that album. The Private Press by DJ Shadow

Lubix? Is Lubix the “name-you-trust” in bluetooth technology? Hmmmm.

And those ear pieces they look more like suction cups - Do they go inside the ear?

Ouchie?

Found a really nice and detailed video review of this on Youtube here although this one mentioned some remote features not listed in the Woot listing. Possibly the one in the video is a higher model, but if you’re wondering how “hangs around your neck” really looks, or curious on the ear placement, you’ll be set.

I believe it is 30 feet.

This review says they sound great but make you look like a dork wearing two bluetooth earpieces. If the sound is as good as this guy says, I can live with looking like a bluetooth tool.

yeah…hmmmm. Same price on ebay new from a very reputable seller. And I don’t have to pay tax with ebay… and I can use Bing cashback with ebay… common woot. give me some incentive here! I want these… make it $20 shipped and you have a deal!

“Comfort and convenience… Since the Lubix NC1 is designed to be worn as a pendant when not in use, there’s no need to have a bulky device hanging on your ear at all times.”

Oh heck no, I’d rather have the bulky thing hanging around my neck!

I think I might get a set!

Agreed, but im a sucker for bluetooths.

All bluetooth devices work up to a radius of 10m.

If you are wondering where I got my information from, I quoted it from my Telecommunications text book “Business Data Networks and Telecommunications” by Raymond R. Panko. I add this note to assure its legitimacy.

Bluetooth headsets make you look like an agent in The Matrix.

A2DP (stereo bluetooth) headphones utilize rechargeable cells to provide reception, process the digital stream, and power the drivers.

I appreciate the fashion concern from the designer, but these look like oversized earbuds. The remote control is well done, but I can’t see many people wearing these around the neck like a pendant when not in use.

MPIO tried this with their MP3 player, and I don’t think it worked too well as an approach. Having a pair of headphones around your neck is one thing, but earbuds disguised as a pendant seems kinda iffy.

Also, anyone know how well they sound? I’m not a fan of earbuds, since they never block much outside noise and never have much bass support and treble tolerance.

There’s an “expert” review on Alatest giving these things 80/100 points.

they sound useful. i’m in for one.

But these and other pendant style can be hidden if you don’t want to look like you are listening to music at work or something
