IMO this is a bit overpriced. It’s likely to drop to the sub-$40 range by the holiday shopping season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see $30-35 specials at Gamestop and Target.

That’s the thing: relatively few people want it “right now” because most of them already have it for the 3DS. Yes, they’re getting decent sales from certain demographics like younger kids coming of age who never had a 3DS, but those sales aren’t going to be enough to prop up the title in a few months. I just picked up Pikmin 4 for $35, and that’s barely a year old, and was a more anticipated title than this one. Nintendo games are burning out quickly at the moment due to the impending new console.
Oh sure. This isn’t some hot new release that everyone’s clamoring over. But it’s still not a bad price at this point in time.
