This flame system was invented by the Disney engineers for the Disneyland haunted house. They are the most realistic flames you have ever seen!
I have a lot of these, but bought them off of QVC. They are extremely realistic. There’s an led light that shines on the “flame”, and a magnet that keeps it moving (flickering)…as I understand it. As the previous comment said, it was invented for Disney, where real flames weren’t viable.
These luminara candles are one of my favorite purchases ever. We bought some for Christmas and liked them so much they are out year round. They are amazingly realistic and so much safer if you have animals or small kids in the house, where an open flame may not be such a great idea.
