FWIW, I had a Luna tenor uke - it was the Tatoo, not the High Tide. Still, it was a laminate just like this.
I found it to be quite unsatisfactory. The intonation was poor, the sound was dull (which is the last thing you want in a uke), and there were too many blems in the build (glue spots, poor fret polishing, etc).
In general, Luna is a low-end builder, and you can find better used items for the same (if not lower) price.
Your results may vary.
Even on Luna’s own website, the non-sale, MSRP is $249. Not sure where Woot is getting that these are $355 ukes.
