Alas, the comments on Amazon aren’t that encouraging…

Contact with Customer Support, especially on the chat line, was a joke, the person on the other end merely following one of this tiresome and blatantly obvious “script ladders” that pass for “tech support” these days. I would tell anyone contemplating a Megallan product to understand that after 12 months, it’s good only for recycling if anything goes wrong. AVOID.”
Too bad. Combining a dash cam with a GPS unit seems like a very good idea, but it seems like Magellan’s implementation and support are lacking.
