So when it comes time to updating the map software to account for new roads, does it automatically download it or do you have to plug it into your computer and connect to the internet?
my 3 year old Garmin still working pretty good … would haave loved to pick it up for SiRFstarIII™ ; it makes a real difference especially in cities with sky scrapers…
Dose not look like it has the ever so popular text-to-speech option similar to some of the Garmin products. Still a very good buy if you dont mind the thing not talking street names.
I have an earlier version, which is pretty great. Unfortunately they want $80 for a map update. Thats almost half of what a new one costs so its pretty much pointless, especially because hardware is improved on the new ones.
