Meh, TomTom > Magellan.

3 stars on Amazon.

How is it compared to, say, a Nuvi 200w?

I am the walrus? But I like Ringo in a Yellow Submarine LOL.

Lets all go on the I88 corridor in the suburbs of chicago.

ronnie reagan.

Garmin nuvi 200 for the same price. Smaller screen, but that’s not “worse”, just a matter of preference.

how many map updates do you get??

So when it comes time to updating the map software to account for new roads, does it automatically download it or do you have to plug it into your computer and connect to the internet?

is it free to update…as 1st quarter 2007 means some of my new roads i travel won’t appear, and it will make it look like i’m in a field driving.

Amazon charges $25 for shipping!

Look at the expanded picture :

The CD seems to be from 3M. I know they make PostIt notes, Scotch tape and sand paper. When did they start selling GPS mapping software ?

does this have text to speech?

my 3 year old Garmin still working pretty good … would haave loved to pick it up for SiRFstarIII™ ; it makes a real difference especially in cities with sky scrapers…

Dose not look like it has the ever so popular text-to-speech option similar to some of the Garmin products. Still a very good buy if you dont mind the thing not talking street names.

What drugs are you smoking? Anything over $25 ships for FREE; provided it is being sold by Amazon, and not one of their third-party vendors…

Garmin > All

thanks, was wondering if i should replace my garmin 200w for this, guess not…

Hey my first comment got deleted!

eBay ~ $190

eBay (completed)

Froogled - $154 - $300 ~ $170

Amazon Reviews (3/5 with 5 reviewers) (Pretty useful information I think)

I have an earlier version, which is pretty great. Unfortunately they want $80 for a map update. Thats almost half of what a new one costs so its pretty much pointless, especially because hardware is improved on the new ones.
