Be careful with these. Make a bunch of test cuts and really look it over. I ordered 3 from home depot and ended up returning all 3 after a lot of time wasted. The packaging these come in is completely inadequate and will allow damage to the top rail/slide that is irreparable and cannot be adjusted to compensate.
PS. Unless Woot can confirm otherwise by looking at the actual boxes, these saws have been updated with a new design that looks more similar to the 36V model. The black wire pull outs will be an easy giveaway. The pictures above are used on every website and represent a saw that Makita stopped making a few years ago.
PPS. These are now made in China. I personally don’t care were they are made, but quality control is not on par with the saws from a few years ago. I blame Makita for slacking.
