Before we get the flood of people complaining that it doesn’t include a battery or charger: Pro tools are often sold this way to lower the cost for people who already have other tools in the same line that use the same battery. Pros who already have 15 other Makita LXT tools don’t need to have 15 chargers and probably already have a bunch of batteries on hand. That’s why it’s sold this way. It’s not a conspiracy to cheat you, and it’s not a dumb oversight.
It’s a decent enough deal by itself and the saw is great. This isn’t the brushless model, but it’s still great.

So if you’re already in the Makita system this is a solid buy, but if you’re looking to get into a pro-level cordless system (Makita or Dewalt ), you can do better getting a kit with free tools.
