There’s an insert in the box with a QR code that connects you to some dark web third-party server with god knows what sort of malware included. As others have noted, I installed the HND app from the Google app store and it works fine. Not the most intuitive to get set-up with no instructions but I eventually got it working.
Now onto sticking sharp instruments in my ears

Search for HND app. I found it in the Google app store and it seems to work

It installs Tor and orders contraband for you. Then you start hearing things and you can examine your ear to make sure it’s not real.
