Haven’t ever had one, and probably wont be going in, but I wanted to say the vertical “Martellotto” design on a few of the bottles is absolutely fantastic.
If I’d known these were coming up today I would have been sure to taste them all - some were at the Tour gathering last night. I saw the 2010 Cab, but since it’s so young I figured it wouldn’t be for me and didn’t try it. I did, however, try the tempranillo. It was toward the end of the night, but I recall it being on the fruitier side of the varietal with much less dirt/earth than I normally associate with tempranillo. For those who like fruity but fairly balanced wine, the tempranillo will probably fit the bill.
I cry foul! (And I think you meant “fowl” – unless you were talking about another kind of foul – but that one, I think, is more commonly associated with Chianti. )
