I bought an older model of these headphones a little over a year ago. I still use them when working out. The sound quality is quite good especially considering the low cost.

I’ve had the old one too (m6), it was virtually indestructible, even with the strain relief gone, it still didn’t show any weakness at the jack. That is until the cable got caught between a door or something and an obvious break in the cable was visible, and the sound started to get fainter due to shorting of the wiring.

My old headphone had steel braiding throughout the whole cable to keep it from breaking, is this one also re-enforced like that?

Is the detachable connection point water and sweat resistant? I remember someone who had crazy expensive Ultimate Ears in-ear monitors and they showed me what looks like corrosion inside the cable near where the connector meets the cable. Seems in that case, the detachable cable feature was more of a weak point in terms of sweat resistance.

I see these here frequently, but a $5 shipping on one headphone of this price is ridiculous. I did get 2 OM audio headphones last time though, thinking relatively high price means good quality. Boy, was I wrong.

It cost me $39 on Amazon.MEE Audio created a compromise in not only price, but also in design, comfort and yes, sound quality. So it worth this price.

I watch for these and buy a couple pair every time I can so I can keep a pair handy everywhere! They’re the only buds I’ve found that fit really comfortably under all my full face helmets - street bikes, dirt bikes and snowmobiles! (They’re not weather/water proof, but stay dry zipped in my jacket)
They don’t slip when I put my helmets on, and they sound great - plus the remote functions make it easy to adjust volume while I’m riding or pause when I stop and need to talk to someone.
Hope the newer models with the jacked in earpiece work as well as the previous models, (which are quite durable, especially when I use a bit of Sugru to reinforce the wire connections before use.) because I’m in for 2 more. = >
