Any idea how these are actually sized? SInce they have inch # sizes maybe close, but you never know without reviews. I’m 38-40 and most 38s are fine but some are definitely not. On a cargo short I think I will order 40 but I’ve had some 40’s are so baggy I feel like taping on a large garden trash bag. These have a built-in belt to at least would stay up if that happens.
It says “Modern-fit design” which means that it runs slim. I’d go up a size, personally.

Thanks, especially for cargo shorts that makes sense. Unless “Modern” means the last few years including the “Quarantine 15” which were the pounds we all gained staying at home 4 years ago and are struggling to get rid of.
