Anyone know if the belt on these is completely separate/removable?
Per Vendor the belt is removable!
I wish someone would have put a link to prior sale of these. There is more information there from people who bought them and if I had read that in advance there is not much chance I would have made this purchase. I am hoping they are not the exact same item. There is a link on that post to a GBH page where the shorts described are definitely NOT these. (Fabric composition is not listed as the same thing.)
As I write, these are not yet sold out.
They arrived today and are Blu-Ray of NY, not GBH. Tags say $59.90 each.
Not at ALL what I expected. Really nice. Thought they’d be more casual.
True to size, and almost knee length on someone 5’10".
“Stretch” is a stretch, lol, they do have 2% spandex; the rest is cotton. Very nice fabric. Made in China. Belt is long enough, but not too long. Woot item listing says 96% cotton/4% spandex so maybe YMMV?
The pockets are not ridiculously short: the front ones are okay (fit most of a hand), the back ones just barely fit a wallet (but they button shut for safety), and the cargo pockets are not huge but easily fit a phone, etc.
If you are looking for some nice shorts, this is those. The cargo pockets do not stick out so they are not very prominent, and I would consider these to be “casual dress shorts”.

Also got these 4 hubs…bought a size larger thinking about washer shrinkage …they didnt shrink much…he can wear them withe the removable belt. But buying another set of the correct size…cuz hubs LUVS them, score!
Wearing them right now, completely removable.
The rear pocket is not large enough for a standard bifold wallet.
Hmm, I wonder if you got the same ones. Tight (hard to button), but it did fit.
