Received my order today. They’re fine, but definitely not fleece-lined - just regular sweatshirt material. The hoods are lined with what appears to be additional sweatshirt material in a different color. Also, the zipper pull is on the left side, which is different than I’m accustomed to. Not what I expected, but still okay.
Hi there. Here’s some information from the vendor to help understand kinds of hoodies:
French-terry lined hoodie – which is a lightweight hoodie with a terry lining on the inside.
Fleece lined hoodie – which is your basic fleece hoodie you would buy at the gap, old navy, h & m, collegese etc.
Sherpa fleece lined hoodie – the heavy Sherpa furry fleece
Thermal lined hoodie – which is like the waffle knit thermal lining on the inside of the hoodie
Got mine today. Zipper is reversed thus on the wrong side. Not a men’s hoodie for sure. Sending mine to the Salvation Army. Useless to me.
I received mine today and they are not what I would call fleece lined, there is no lining, and it is thin material. I was expecting a lined hoodie that would be appropriate for a cool fall night or early spring. This is the kind of light weight hoodie you wear on a cool summer night, Google image search fleece lined hoodie and you will see what I believe most people would call fleece lined and it is not what I received. If you go to the Gap and buy a basic hoodie, you get a basic hoodie. If you buy fleece lined hoodie you’ll get one with a lining.
BOO on you WOOT, this is not what it was advertised to be. Highly disappointed (for the first time). This will not work for it’s intended purpose and are going to Good Will.
Hi there. See above for the definitinos. If you’re unhappy with it, make sure you reach out to Woot Customer Service. From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
I completely disagree with the vendor’s definition. When something is represented as “lined” it means there is an additional layer of material on the inside. I have never seen a regular sweatshirt described as “lined”. I also looked at Old Navy’s website, and none of their standard sweatshirts or hoodies are called “fleece-lined”.
Agree with txbeachbum - the zipper location is a bit annoying.
As I said, they’re not awful, so I suppose I won’t waste the time, effort and cost to return.
I kinda agree with y’all. I asked that we not list them as fleece lined in the future. They’re just hoodies.
As to the zipper, it’s a US thing to swap zipper sides.
You should completely agree. The product was deceptively marketed. Frankly, I think it’s kinda scummy.
Remember, if you’re unhappy with it, reach out to Woot Customer Service. From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
It wasn’t scummy; it was just a mistake. Reach out to Customer Service and they will help you out. Just don’t get Peter (first initial of last name will be left unsaid), he won’t do a thing for you except say some platitudes about how wonderful Woot is and how enjoyable Woot’s products are.
I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree.
Reaching out to CS for a <$30 item is a waste of time IMO. In general, I have been very happy with my purchases from Woot, so I’m willing to cut them some slack on this one.
It only takes five minutes to go to your account and click on your purchase and send them a quick email. Just say’n…
I appreciate you being forgiving. However, I do wish you would contact Woot CS. We track issues on products. If people don’t report stuff, we don’t know about larger issues.
Yep. These are a nice, lightweight, zippered fleece hoodie, but they are NOT Lined: Only the hoods are lined, and that’s just with an extra layer of the same material as the body. Two out of the three I received are actually women’s jackets, with the zipper pull on the left side, not the right.
OTOH, for the price, they are “good enough.”
Hi there. Zippers on the right/left is mostly a USA thing. In other countries, they don’t change the zipper sides.
There’s tons of articles about this on the interwebs.
Okay, I sent a quick email to CS.
